Reach For A Dream Celebrates BirthdayCapetown Web - The Reach For A Dream Foundation is proudly celebrating its 18th birthday with traditional parties taking place throughout the month of July at McDonald's franchises countrywide. "Helping children believe in the power of dreams" is the objective of the Reach For A Dream Foundation and it has been successful in giving hope and encouragement to more than 6 300 children per annum (of all income groups, race or creed between the ages of 3 and 18 years) in their fight against life-threatening illnesses.
Reach For A Dream was born on the 7th of July 1988 and with our upcoming birthday in mind, Teljoy, a company that has been making dreams come true for over 30 years, has taken on this year's Reach For A Dream birthday celebrations.
Teljoy will not only fulfil a number of individual dreams, but the company will be hosting a fantastic 'Birthday Fair' where over a 150 children and their families will enjoy a day of dream fulfilment, helicopter rides, fire engine rides, carnival type fun and activities.
This is a big day for Teljoy, not only are they sponsoring the days event, but they also sponsored Reach For A Dreams's 1st birthday party (held at Nasrec in 1988) and fulfilled a large number of dreams then too.
Reach For A Dream have invited over 20 South African celebrities like Danny K, Baby Jake and Vanessa Carreira and many more, to visit with the children and have their photographs taken with them.
