The Wine Affair at the V&A Waterfront

The V&A Waterfront, Cape Towns oldest working harbour and iconic retail, leisure and hospitality destination, will again be host to the Wine Affair from Tuesday, 3 May until Friday, 6 May, from 5pm until 9pm daily.

This well loved wine and food festival is the only event of its kind that takes place right at the waters' edge, offering spectacular views and the enjoyment of top Western Cape wineries, restaurants and purveyors of fine foods.

The stunning new Lookout venue, situated at Granger Bay right on the water's edge is the perfect host venue for the Wine Affair V&A Waterfront, overlooking the ocean, with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the Cape Town Stadium.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice as gourmet exhibitors such as cheese producer La Petite France and Waverley Hills Organic Olives along with restaurants offer delicacies to savour as an accompaniment to your wines. Whether it is sushi, oysters, cheese, charcuterie or perhaps traditional South African bobotie with a twist from Karibu Restaurant, there will be plenty to tantalize the tastebuds.

We will once again be hosting the not-to-be-missed themed Tasting Theatre which proved to be exceptionally popular at the 2010 event.  The tastings will be offered free of charge but space will be limited and patrons will be able to attend on a first-come-first-served basis.

With so much to sip and sample from well-known estates such as De Krans, Groot Constantia, Jordan and  Middelvlei, and hidden gems such as De Vallei, Nomada, Klein Roosboom and The Foundary, visitors to the festival will certainly not be disappointed, so be sure not to miss out on one of Cape Town's premier lifestyle events.
