NEW DESIGNER STORE PROVES THAT CAPE TOWN'S GOT TALENTSituated on Claremont Main Road next to Babos and just a stone throw away from Cavendish Mall, the Young Star Originals clothing store is an opportunity for designers to get their talent recognised and to provide consumers with quality clothing at reasonable prices.
Young Star's owner, Marc Losper says, "We want to offer the highest quality South African designer wear at affordable prices that will cater to the needs of what we call the *Young-Star* generation. We want to create a brand that values individuality and staff that represents service excellence and are proud brand ambassadors."
Designers pay a monthly fee to secure rail/shelf space in the store and receive exposure through marketing and public relations. The store owner has a passion for the fashion industry and marketing and customer relations experience. He wants South Africans to embrace our individuality and set trends instead of following international ones.
"Clothing may not enhance your potential to become great, but it is definitely a starting point to define comfort, confidence and most of all, individuality", says Mr. Losper.
